Careers

We're small. We're not actively hiring.

We're building AI-first IT support for UK SMEs — a model where an AI agent handles the 80% of support tickets that don't genuinely need a human, and UK engineers step in for the work that does. The thesis is that most IT support is dramatically more expensive than it needs to be, because human time is being used on tasks that software can do faster and more consistently. We're testing that thesis on real customers, learning what works, and iterating.

Right now, the team is small and deliberately so. We're not trying to build a large headcount — we're trying to build something that scales because the AI does the heavy lifting, not because we hired a hundred engineers. The people we do have are senior, technical, and comfortable working in an environment where the tooling is still being figured out.

If we were to hire — and at some point we will — we'd be looking for two kinds of people. Senior support engineers who are genuinely curious about AI-augmented work: people who want to handle the complex, ambiguous tickets that the AI correctly decides it can't resolve, and who care about the quality of the handover. And product-minded engineers who care about the UK SME market: people who understand that the customer is a 25-person accountancy firm or a 40-person consultancy, not a tech company, and who build accordingly.

If that describes you, and you're curious about what we're building, we'd be happy to hear from you. No application form, no ATS, no structured process right now — just an email to hello@itsupporthelpdesk.co.uk with a short note on who you are and what you'd want to do.

We're UK-remote. No in-office requirement. We're an equal-opportunity employer.
