IT support for Professional Services firms that actually move
Consultancies, agencies, architects, and surveyors don't have a fixed pattern. Staff work from client sites, home offices, and coffee shops. They share large files with external collaborators. They run Teams calls while someone else is on Zoom. At £10 per user per month, our AI-led support handles the IT reality of project-based, mobile, mixed-tool firms — without needing a dedicated IT person on the payroll.
Why we fit professional services firms
- —Mixed tool stacks handled without fuss. Some teams run Microsoft 365; others have inherited Google Workspace from a previous life. Some use both. We support whichever combination your firm actually runs, rather than insisting everything be standardised before we'll help.
- —External collaboration that actually works. Sharing large CAD files, InDesign packages, or deck drafts with external clients and subconsultants means SharePoint guest access, OneDrive sharing links, and Teams external channels all need to be configured correctly. We set these up and fix them when they break.
- —Teams, Zoom, and Slack — all of them. Video conferencing issues cost billable time. The AI diagnoses audio device conflicts, camera driver issues, network routing problems, and Zoom/Teams software conflicts — and resolves most of them without escalation.
- —Hybrid and mobile working without VPN headaches. Staff working from home, a client's office, or a site visit need consistent, secure access. We configure and troubleshoot VPN connectivity, conditional access policies in M365, and device enrolment — so remote working isn't a source of weekly tickets.
- —New starter and leaver workflows. Project-based firms hire and offboard more than most. We make M365 account setup and deprovisioning quick and consistent — including removing access to shared drives and client channels the moment someone leaves.
How this plays out in practice
A consultant's Teams audio cuts out every time they join from a client's office WiFi.
The AI identifies the client network is blocking certain UDP ports that Teams uses for real-time audio. It advises switching to TCP transport mode in Teams settings and enables the workaround — call quality restored without involving the client's IT team.
An architect needs to share a 2 GB project folder with an external planning consultant who keeps getting an access error.
The AI checks the SharePoint site's external sharing settings and finds guest access was restricted at the organisation level. It escalates to a UK engineer who enables per-site guest sharing without opening the whole tenant, and the folder access is granted within the hour.
A new senior consultant starts on Monday and needs M365, Slack, and VPN access ready before 9 am.
The office manager raises a ticket on Friday afternoon. The AI prepares a setup checklist and flags it to a UK engineer, who provisions the accounts and sends credentials on Friday evening — ready for a clean first day with no scramble.
What we don't do for professional services firms
We'd rather be honest about scope than overpromise.
- We don't manage industry-specific software. AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Cloud, and specialist surveying tools are supported by their own vendors. We support the Windows or macOS environment they run on — not the applications themselves.
- We don't provide on-site support. We're fully remote. If hardware fails in the field or at a client site, we'll diagnose remotely and, where genuinely needed, help you find local hands-on support.
- We don't manage your Google Workspace admin console directly. We can advise on Google Workspace configuration, but our tooling and direct integrations are strongest in M365. Google Workspace issues may require more back-and-forth than M365 equivalents.
