IT support for Charities that doesn't cost like a consultancy

UK charities are often security-conscious, budget-constrained, and running a mix of employees and volunteers — sometimes all on the same IT systems. At £10 per user per month, our AI-led support gives your team and your trustees fast answers without the overhead of a traditional MSP contract. We understand nonprofit M365 licensing, funder reporting pressure, and the reality of an IT budget that answers to a board.

Why we fit charities and not-for-profit organisations

  • Microsoft Tech for Social Impact support. Many UK charities qualify for Microsoft 365 nonprofit licences at substantially reduced cost. We help you configure and get the most from your nonprofit M365 tenant — including Intune device management, Teams for coordination, and SharePoint for document governance.
  • Mixed employee and volunteer access, done carefully. Volunteers need access to some systems — but not all of them. We configure guest accounts, Teams channels, and SharePoint permissions so volunteers can collaborate without accidentally touching donor data or sensitive financial records.
  • Donor data handled with appropriate care. Your donor database and CRM are among the most sensitive data your organisation holds. We support the IT environment around your donor management tools and ensure M365 access controls reduce the risk of data finding its way somewhere it shouldn't.
  • Funder reporting and document governance. Grant funders often require evidence of good organisational practice, including data handling. We help configure audit logging, retention policies, and document version control in M365 so your records are in order when you need to evidence it.
  • Flat, predictable pricing that works for a charity budget. No per-incident fees, no separate retainers, no surprises. One monthly cost per user that your finance team can plan around and your trustees can understand.

How this plays out in practice

A volunteer needs access to the charity's shared drive for an upcoming fundraising event — but can't log in with the guest link.

The AI checks the SharePoint sharing settings and finds the guest invite has expired. It guides the office manager through re-issuing a time-limited guest link scoped to just the event folder — not the whole drive. Done in two minutes.

A trustee is getting a spam flood through the charity's info@ mailbox, and the team is worried about phishing.

The AI checks Defender for Office 365 settings and identifies the shared mailbox isn't protected by anti-phishing policies. It escalates to a UK engineer who adds the mailbox to the existing policy scope and tightens the spam filter threshold without affecting legitimate donor emails.

The charity's annual report needs to be locked down — only certain staff should be able to edit the final version.

The AI walks the document owner through SharePoint document versioning and permission inheritance — so the approved version is locked, a read-only link goes to the board, and the working draft remains separate. No engineer required.

What we don't do for charities

We want to be straightforward about where our scope ends.

  • We don't apply for Microsoft nonprofit licensing on your behalf. The Tech for Social Impact programme requires your organisation to qualify and apply directly via Microsoft or a Microsoft partner. We support the tenant once it's set up — the application itself is separate.
  • We don't manage your donor CRM or fundraising platform. Salesforce Nonprofit, Raiser's Edge, Donorfy, and similar tools are supported by their own vendors. We support the IT environment around them — the devices, the M365 accounts, the network connectivity.
  • We don't provide formal GDPR advice. We configure IT systems to support data minimisation and access control, but the legal judgements about what your charity must do under UK GDPR are for your data protection officer or legal adviser.
  • We don't provide on-site support. Fully remote. Hardware failures that genuinely require hands-on work will be diagnosed by us and referred to a local engineer if needed.
